The University of Groningen is the second oldest university in the Netherlands and is among the top of European universities in the field of academic research. Our agreement is with the Faculty of Science and Engineering which offers research and education in fields such as data science, computer science, artificial intelligence, and systems & control.
Groningen itself is both a very old and very young city, originally an old Hanseatic city that dates back nearly a thousand years, it is now a major students city with a vibrant cultural scene that mixes a youthful energy with historical charm.
