Erasmus+ student
Make sure you have the host university sign your Certificate of Arrival and Departure.
Make sure you get a transcript of your exams
In order to get your credits transferred upon your return, you need a transcript of record from the host university. Make sure you receive this.
Some universities will send your transcript directly to ITU, but please check up on the procedure so you a sure we will receive a transcript either from you or the university.
Keep in touch - check your ITU e-mail
It may be necessary for us to get in touch with you during your stay abroad. Therefore you should check you ITU-email regularly.
You also have to remember deadlines in connection with registration for courses and projects, even though you are studying abroad.
Be an ambassador
Partnership agreements are very important for our relationship with other universities and we therefore expect you to display a good behavior both on campus and off campus. This is also important for freemover students as you also represent ITU abroad.
You will engage with students from all over the world and you will encounter a country with a different culture and society. Remember to be open, respectful and curious about the differences - and similarities - you experience and use those experiences to strengthen your intercultural competences.
Because of the importance of our partnerships and relationships, we might also contact you abroad concerning a promotion of the IT University at your host university if a promotion fair is being arranged by the partner.
