The progression requirement is a rule stating how much you have to pass each year in order to be considered an active student and continue your programme at ITU.
As of 1 September 2025, the progression requirement is changed:
Consequently, you must as a minimum pass one exam for a continuous period of one year. If you do not do this, you will not be allowed to continue your programme at ITU.
If you due to special circumstances cannot fulfil the progression requirement, you can apply for an exemption from this rule.
Please go to Exemptions for further information about the requirement and exemptions.
Transitional period
If you apply for an exemption from the progression requirement concerning a period from 1 September 2025 and onwards, the new progression requirement will apply.
If you apply for an exemption from the progression requirement concerning a period before 1 September 2025, the old requirement will apply.
Please see here for the old requirement.
