If you fail your re-exam you will have used two exam attempts.
Depending on the exam period for your second exam attempt, there are two ways of registering for your third attempt
If your second exam attempt was in the re-exam period, you must register for the course again in the registration period.
- You then have to follow the course and pass any contingent mandatory activities in order to participate in the exam (your third attempt) in the following exam period in December/January or May/June.
- You might be exempt from the mandatory activities or allowed to re-submit assignments from earlier, but you need to consult your course manager about this. You need to be sure of what is required of you, to be able to go to the exam.
If your second exam attempt was at the ordinary exam in December/January or May/June, you must register for your third attempt in the re-exam period by sending an email to sap@itu.dk no later than on the 2nd Wednesday of respectively February or July.*
*If your grades are released after the above deadline and you discover that you need to register for your third attempt in the re-exam period, please contact sap@itu.dk within 3 days of the grade announcement.
