Having an account at the IT University of Copenhagen (i.e. a username and password) is the prerequisite for working on ITU computers as well as with the ITU community system.
Services and responsibilities
Being a user at the ITU give you access to a lot of services in form of hardware and software. Even though all of these services are primary for use when studying, you can use them for private purposes as well, as long as it does not disturb the study oriented use for other students.
Having a ITU account puts you on some responsibilities such as keep your password safe and unknown to anybody but you and never use your account for illegal installation, copying or similar activities. Read the user policy for using IT systems at ITU and find more policy documents and guide lines under IT Security.
