Exam registration

If you fail to submit your thesis for the the deadline of the ordinary exam, The Study Administration will contact you via email after the deadline and inform you of the following consequences:

• You have used an examination attempt.

A new submission deadline is set for you.

In most cases it will be 3 months after the original deadline.

Adjust your problem statement
Within 2 weeks after you have received the email you must make an adjustment to the existing problem statement in co-operation with your supervisor. The objective is to make it more realistic that you will be able to hand in the thesis by the new deadline.

You upload the adjusted problem statement in a folder on your project page.

If you fail to submit your thesis on your second examination attempt, The Study Administration will contact you via email after the deadline and inform you of the following consequences:

• You have used two examination attempts.

A new submission deadline will be set 3 months after the second attempt.

Adjust your problem statement + make a plan
In addition to updating your problem statement again, you must make a written plan for the rest of your thesis work, also within a 2-week-limit. The plan should contain an overview of subsidiary goals and planned meetings with your supervisor.

The plan is meant to be a help for you to complete your thesis on time.

You upload the adjusted problem statement and the written plan in a folder on your project page.
