ITU will take part in the Copenhagen Pride Parade on 15 August, and we invite all students and employees to join us for a day of community, celebration, and support for diversity and inclusion.

We will meet at ITU in the morning before heading together to the parade. Pride T-shirts (limited number available) will be handed out, and there will be an opportunity to get dressed up with face paint before we leave.

Please note that if you would like to join the parade as part of the ITU group, you must leave the university with the group no later than 11:30.

During the parade, ITU will provide a limited number of water and drinks for participants, but we encourage everyone to bring their own as well.

After the parade, the official ITU programme ends, but you are welcome to stay and continue celebrating at your own pace.

Programme

10:00 - 10:30: Arrival & Meet-Up (Atrium)

· Time to arrive, meet colleagues and fellow students, and socialise.

10:30 - 11:30: Preparations

· Pride T-shirts handed out (limited number available).
· Face painting and time to get dressed up for the parade.

11:30: Departure from ITU

· We head to the Metro as a group to join the parade.
· If you want to participate in the parade with the ITU group, please leave with the group from the university no later than 11:30.

12:30: Arrival at the Parade

· Meet at Parade Meeting Point Q1 (see map).
· The parade starts at 13:00 from Frederiksberg City Hall and ends at Copenhagen City Hall.
· ITU will walk as number 32 and will be located in Q1.
