Uppsala University was founded in 1477, which makes it the oldest university in Sweden. Today it is a comprehensive research university ranked among the best in the world, with 50,000 students and close to 5,000 researchers. The agreement is with the Department of Information Technology.

Uppsala is itself a vibrant student city, famous for its many student nations which makes studying in Uppsala a very unique experience. The Capital city of Stockholm is less than an hour away by train.
