ITU is launching its 2025 Action Plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This year's initiatives build upon past efforts to improve recruitment, retention, and fairness in academic and professional spaces at ITU.

In the ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment, ITU is launching its 2025 Action Plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This year's initiatives build upon past efforts to improve recruitment, retention, and fairness in academic and professional spaces at ITU.

ITU is strengthening its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by refining recruitment strategies to increase the representation of women in scientific fields and implementing a tenure track system to attract and retain researchers. Efforts to improve fairness in student evaluations and address biases are also underway to ensure a more equitable academic environment.

Additionally, ITU is exploring a unified code of conduct for employees and students, assessing the integration of student minority groups, and launching branding videos featuring scientific and administrative staff. These initiatives aim to create a more cohesive, inclusive, and welcoming university community where diversity thrives.

These initiatives reflect ITU’s ongoing dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment that allows students and staff to thrive and excel. The committee welcomes feedback and suggestions.
