About the event

Tuesday, October 5, 2021 3:30 PM - Tuesday, October 5, 2021 5:30 PM

Meet and be inspired by former ITU students who shares the same educational background as you. They will share their story, experiences & path to become an entrepreneur and maybe inspire you to become one too.

Talks by:

- Tony Beltramelli & Henrik Haugbølle- Founders of “Uizard”. They met at ITU as part of their Master's degree in Computer Science (previously called Software Development and Technology) from which they all graduated in 2015. Uizard is an online design tool for non-designers. The company recently raised 100 million kr. from US investors and is hiring to grow their team in Copenhagen and in Europe.

-    Sune Alstrup – Investor, Ex CEO & Co-founder of “The Eye Tribe”, a startup that developed the world's leading eye tracking technology for the next generation computing platforms of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. The Eye Tribe was acquired by Facebook in 2016. Sune graduated from ITU in 2005.

- Helene Nørlem & Melissa Azari - founders of "Tiimo". Tiimo was founded after they carried out research about how software could support children and adolescents with ADHD as part of their master’s research at the IT University in Copenhagen. Their research project ended by testing the first Tiimo prototype. At the end of the test a parent came up and asked ‘So when can we download the app?’. This was the moment when Melissa and Helene truly believed that there was an urgent need for something like Tiimo and decided to try to make its development their full-time job.
