Please note that it is only possible to apply for the fee-paying programme at Victoria University of Wellington. This is due to an imbalance in exchange numbers between the institutions. ITU students will get a discount of 10% of the tuition fees.

When applying to Victoria University of Wellington, please state on the application form that you are applying for the fee-paying programme: 'VUW study abroad (feepaying)'.

BSc: A grade of 7.0 overall in English in Studentereksamen or Højere Forberedelseseksamen; or gaining a minimum of: IELTS 6.0 overall with no subscore below 5.5; or TOEFL IBT 80 points; or PTE 58 with a minimum of 50 in a 'Communicative' score; or Victoria University English Proficiency Programme final scores '4,4,4,3'. 

MSc: TOEFL IBT 90 points with minimum 20 in writing; or IELTS 6.5 with no subscore below 6; or PTE 65 with a minimum of 58 in a 'Communicative' score.

ECTS-points or semesters required completed before nomination for BSc students
BSc students must have completed 30 ECTS before nomination, and 60 ECTS before starting their studies at VUW

ECTS-points or semesters required completed before nomination for Msc students
MSc students must have completed 180 ECTS at BSc level. Postgraduates do not need to be currently enrolled in a degree when applying, however they must have completed a Bachelors degree before starting their studies at VUW.

ECTS activity requirements for obtaining visa
Students have to follow a minimum of 22.5 ECTS per semester to be able to get a visa

The university offers international students accomodation, either in halls of residence or at a host family. All international students can participate in a buddy system if they wish to.
