The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and Department of Software Engineering offers a large a range of courses in the field of Computer Science so here you might get a chance to try out something new and exciting. The University as a whole has over 51.000 students with more than 7.000 students originating from foreign countries.

About Prague

Charles University is located right in the historical city center of Prague. No matter if you are into history, art, beer or urban exploration, the city has something to offer. The Computer Science building of Charles University is a former Jesuit monastery dating from the 17th century and located between Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

The agreement is with the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, where the School of Computer Science is located. This is an Erasmus+ agreement.

Each degree plan has a list of obligatory courses which are guaranteed to be taught in English. However, the courses can be taught in a different semester than written in the degree plan so check the courses in the course system. Elective courses can also be taught in English but can be subject to change so check out the courses in the course system.

Please note that you must select min. 51% of subjects from Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. This also means that you can search for courses outside of the Faculty of Mathmatics and Physics.
