One ECTS corresponds to approximately 27.5 hours of work for the students, in line with the official European Credit Transfer System.

A 7.5 ECTS course therefore represents around 206 hours of activity in total.

These hours include contact hours (teaching and supervision), individual study time, group work and exam activities, corresponding to an average of approximately 10 hours per week from the first day of teaching to the last day of the exam period. In practice there will be fluctuations, as there often is more work required during teaching weeks and when working on projects.
