Exam submissions in WISEflow

Flow handinFlow oral

The exam can be either a written submission only (FLOWhandin) - or a written submission (FLOWhandin) followed by an oral exam (FLOWoral), called a Sequence of Flows.

Useful to know
When submitting in WISEflow compared to learnIT somethings might be different, so please have a look at the FAQ below.

You cannot form groups until the exam flow has started.

Create your group in WISEflow
If the flow is set up for group submission, you will see the option “Create group” when you open the flow in WISEflow.

For a visual overview of what is described below, please see our user guide about Group formation.

1. How to create the group:
1. Select “Create group”.*
2. Enter a group name.
Choose your group name with respect for others. Your group name is public data and will be displayed on WISEflow in exam plans. You should always choose a group name that complies with ITU’s Code of Conduct.
Kindly also note that the group name must not be a number.
3. Add your fellow students from the list.
4. Click “Create group”.

* Please note that you need to form a group even if you're in a one-person group: Click the option “Create one-person group”.
Create a group name, but don’t add any others.

You can find more information about groups on WISEflow’s help pages.

2. Your fellow students must accept the invitation
Once you have created the group, the other members will receive a notification in WISEflow. They must accept the invitation under the relevant flow.

3. Submitting your assignment
Only one group member needs to upload and submit the assignment (and any appendices) in WISEflow.
The remaining group members only need to:
• be added to the group
• accept the group invitation

Important
If your group includes a student from another study programme at ITU, you may not be able to create a group in WISEflow.

If your exam is a group exam, the flow will be set up as a group submission.

This will be shown in the flow overview. You can submit on behalf of a group or as part of a group – either way, the group members will be shown on the cover sheet.

If for some reason you do not want to attend the exam, it is important that you do not submit anything - not even a blank document.
