Meet our talented graduates and get an insight to their knowledge and skills!

A thesis is the result of months of hard work. Way to often the new knowledge stays between the student and the supervisor. We want to change this. Society and industry should of course have a sneak peek into some of the interesting, peculiar, and funny findings of our graduates.

With thesis talks we give you the opportunity to learn and get inspired.
Whether you are working with IT and digitalization, are a recruiter or simply just interested in the newest ideas and research – this is for you.

Our graduates have made a ten-minute, TED-talk inspired presentation of their work. Lean back and enjoy!

Would you like to talk further?
Do reach out if you are interested in getting in touch with our graduates from the talks. We will be happy to facilitate the contact: mcas@itu.dk

Symbiotic Design: A framework for correlating interaction and narration in videogames

How can a cross-disciplinary team of designers discuss the development of their story-oriented videogames?

The Symbiotic Design Framework presents a completely new and tangible common language for designers. One that allows them to carefully contemplate how they balance interaction and narration, on an instance-to-instance basis. To present our framework, we have made the game INKSLINGER. A game entirely developed using Symbiotic Design.

Improving the Usability to Enhance the User Experience — A Case Study on a Language Learning Platform

This thesis was a case study of Zeeguu (an existing web application for language learning) which aimed to investigate how to enhance the user experience of the application by improving its usability. Taking a user-centered design approach, we set out to improve and re-engineer the digital learning tool, targeting specific usability issues.

The findings of our research showcased an improvement in the overall usability of Zeeguu. While user experience is of a subjective nature, the findings supported the argument that by improving the usability of the application, the general user experience was positively affected.

Self-sovereign identity - a new digital identity

Self-sovereign identity is a new form of digital identity that lets the user be in control of their data.

It is a decentralized identity existing in a network of owners, issuers, verifiers, and holders, that can be used on multiple online platforms.
In our thesis we have examined challenges and opportunities for creating the network to support self-sovereign identity.
