Diversity and Inclusion

At ITU, we value diversity. We believe that students and staff with different gender, skills, educational and cultural backgrounds and so on contribute greatly to everything we do and stand for. When people with diverse backgrounds study and work together, we create better ideas and results.

We value a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for all. We believe that all students and staff should contribute to the creation and preservation of such an environment by acting in a way that includes, invites and respects others. In March 2022 ITU established a Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.

If you experience or observe offensive, discriminatory, sexist, or other behaviour that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable while being a student at ITU we are here to help you.

We have broken down the possible procedure into 1-2-3-4 steps, so you can deal with your experience in a manageable way, feeling supported and safe.

Our values are based on policies and the work of committees.

ITU have a Sexual harassment policy, a Code of conduct policy as well as a Gender equality policy. Besides that The Committee for Diversity and Inclusion has been  established as an initiative to promote a diverse and inclusive work and study environment at ITU.
