Exam registration

Where can I see my exam registrations

You can see your ordinary exam registrations in My Study Activities as soon as you are registered for the course.

For re-exams, the re-exam registration will happen when the exam team has finished the administration of the exams that just finished.

You can check to see if you are registered for a re-exam following the ordinary exams for:

  • Spring: After XX
  • Autumn: After XX
Spring flowers

ORDINARY EXAM REGISTRATION

When you are registered for a course, you are automatically registered for the exam in the following ordinary exam period. If you choose not to attend the exam you will use an exam attempt.

RE-EXAM REGISTRATION

When it comes to being registered for the re-exam in the re-exam period following your first attempt at the ordinary exam, you are administratively registered by SAP. Other scenarios will require you to register yourself.

When to self register for the re-exam

Register for the course again

  • If (due to cancellation of an attempt) your first exam attempt was in the re-exam period, you must register for your second exam attempt yourself, by registering for the course again when offered.
  • If you failed or missed your first (ordinary) and second (re-) exam attempt you must register for your third exam attempt yourself, by registering for the course again when offered.

*Other situations can apply as well, where you will need to register for the course again to be able to have your exam attempt.

Register for the re-exam period

  • If your second exam attempt is placed in the ordinary exam period and you fail or miss it, you need to contact sap@itu.dk if you want to be registered for your next exam attempt in the upcoming re-exam period.

Deadline:
2nd Wednesday of respectively February or July.

*If you haven't received your grades by this deadline, then no later than 3 days from receiving the grades.

Being eligible for the exam

Ballons

One thing is being registered for the exam, another is whether you are eligible for the exam.

For some courses you are eligible just by being registered for the course.
For other courses you need to pass mandatory activities in order to be eligible for the exam.

If you are not eligible for the exam you will use an exam attempt.
Please see the section on Mandatory activities under About courses.
