Welcome from your Tutors

Dear new BSc Student,

Welcome to the IT University of Copenhagen and congratulations on your enrollment!
We (The Tutors) hereby invite you to participate in the Intro Days and Fresher’s Weekend, both packed with fun and different kinds of activities. This is your first opportunity to meet your new fellow students.

Intro Days: 17-19 August
During the Intro Days, the Tutors will give you a taste of life as a student, your study programme and tell you everything there is to know about the university. Our aim is to provide you with a smooth start in regards to the academics at ITU, so that you’re more confident in using all platforms and navigating the university. Furthermore, you will participate in activities with your Tutors and fellow students from your study programme.
When the academic hours ends, the Tutors have planned many fun different activities for all the new bachelor students. This will be more casual than the academic hours, and you will have plenty of time to chat and meet new acquaintances within your designated group. We recommend bringing an extra lunch or a snack, as there will be activities from early morning to late evening.
You definitely don’t want to miss any of it! You can find the agenda for your Intro Days here at ITUstudent.

Fresher’s Weekend: 29-30 August
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we cannot invite you for a Freshers Trip, which we usually do. However, we are planning a Fresher’s Weekend, which will include fun social activities with your group during daytime at locations in Copenhagen. Tune in as we approach the study start, as we will update information about the Fresher’s Weekend continuously. Read more here about how to sign up

COVID-19 and the study start
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some regulations you must abide by – one of these is that you have to stay in your designated group with your Tutors. You will get to know this group of fellow students really well during the study start. You will get to know the rest of your fellow students during your studies at ITU, but not during the study start. Another COVID-19 rule is that alcoholic beverages are not permitted throughout the Intro Days or the Fresher’s Weekend. We kindly ask you to respect this, as we are concerned about health and safety throughout the study start. ITU also has some general regulations in this regard, which you can read here

We strongly encourage you to participate in both the Intro Days and the Fresher’s Weekend - we promise to give you an unforgettable experience!

Remember to sign up for the Intro Days! The deadline to do so is 9 August.
