We will kick of the data jam with a screening of the short documentary 'The Map', which revolves around the revolutionary redesign of New York City’s iconic subway map, for example, addressing the choice between legibility and geographical correctness. Afterwards we will exercise our own mapmaking skills through a hands-on activity.
