Did you know that 60–80% of job changes happen through personal networks? Even in the public sector, where jobs must be advertised, your network can still play a key role.

There for it’s a good idea to think about who your network is and maybe figure out how to broaden your network.

Everyone has a network. Think about people from:

  • Your education: classmates, teachers, tutors
  • Work: colleagues, internship contacts, volunteers
  • Private life: family, friends, neighbors
  • Activities: sports clubs, travel, events
