About Innsbruck

Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol and Austria’s 5th largest city. Literally in the heart of the Alps, it is a natural starting point for outdoor adventures of any kind - hiking, skiing or mountaineering. The city was founded in the middle ages and has a rich cultural heritage but also a more contemporary night life, thanks to its many students.

In addition, Innsbruck offers ample opportunities for exploring both nature and neighbouring Italy, Switzerland and Germany, and luckily Austria has a history of prioritising good and affordable train connections.
