Dear new B.Sc. Student,
Welcome to the IT University of Copenhagen and congratulations on your enrollment!
We (The Tutors) hereby invite you to participate in the Introduction Week and Fresher’s Trip, both packed with fun and different kinds of activities. Here you will have the first opportunity to meet your fellow students.
If you are in doubt about anything regarding the things mentioned on this page, then visit the ITU Intro part here at ITU Student for more information or write an email to email@example.com.
We also encourage you to join our Facebook group for new B.Sc. students.
Intro Week: 19th August - 23th August
During the first three days of the Intro Week from 9:00 to 16:00 the Tutors will give you a taste of the life of a student, your study programme and tell you everything there is to know about the university. Our aim is to provide you with a smooth start in regards to the academics at ITU, so that you’re more confident in using all platforms and navigating the university. Furthermore, you will participate in activities with your Tutors and fellow students from your study line.
When the academic hours are done at 16:00 the tutors have planned many fun different activities for all the new bachelor students. This will be more casual than the academic hours, and you will have plenty of time to chat and meet new acquaintances. We recommend bringing an extra lunch or a snack, as there will be activities from early morning to late evening.
On Thursday and Friday you get to sleep in as we invite you to participate in some late afternoon activities. You definitely don’t want to miss any of it! You can find an overview of the Intro Week here on ITU Student, which explains the full programme.
Fresher’s Trip: August 31st - September 2nd
The Freshers Trip is a 3-day social trip for all new bachelor students at ITU. The Tutors have planned lots of fun activities for you – so you definitely will not be bored. You can find more information about the Fresher’s Trip here on ITU Student. It is important that you read it carefully as it holds information on what to bring, what not to bring, and how to pay for the trip.
The deadline for payment is Wednesday August 21st. By paying you also sign up for the Freshers trip. This information will also be communicated during the Intro Week.
We also want to state that alcohol is NOT a mandatory part of the Intro Week or the Freshers Trip, and that all activities will be for every new bachelor student; those who drink alcohol, and those who don’t. We strongly encourage you to participate, and we promise to give you an unforgettable experience.
We’re looking forward to meeting all of you!
