Onboard the Software Development programme

ITU offers a range of interesting academically based activities for you as a first semester student. The activities are optional and we encourage you to participate, as they can help you improve as a student throughout the semester.

You can read more about BootIT - that is held before semester start - and the two academic activities we are offering during the Study Lab and Live Coding below.

We have planned an introduction programme for you. Here you will get more information about your new study programme and get to meet your fellow students.


Intro Party

This year we will celebrate all new students a bit later than normally due to corona restrictions. Therefore ITU invites all new students for an Intro Party at ITU on:

 October 8 2021 at 20.00-02.00 (8pm-2am)


There is no entrance fee, but you will need to sign up here

We have invited you to a Teams group where you can join the Digital Study Start. Here you will find information about your new study, so make sure to join the group and turn on notifications.

Registration in Denmark for International students

Registration paper
Depending on whether you are a Nordic citizen, an EU/EEA citizen or a non-EU/EEA citizen, there are different registration procedures upon your arrival in Denmark.

It is important that you register correctly and also remember that all students need to register at ITU.

The IT University is situated in the Ørestad right next to the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Copenhagen and the headquarters of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR).

You can take the metro almost to the doorstep of the IT University. The closest metro stop is DR Byen on the M1 line to Vestamager.
