Reading and understanding code that others have made can be difficult. Even reading your own code after a while can be impossible. So how do you ensure that your code is understandable for others?

Former ITU student Sebastian started working at Netcompany after his studies. Working in "the real world" was different than working at assignments and projects during your studies. He quickly learned the importance of being able to write clean, understandable and consistent code when becoming a part of a team.
This is a skill that is essential for anyone working with code and we are therefore offering a clean code workshop for all students at ITU in collaboration with Netcompany.

The workshop will be interactable meaning that you will have to participate through small code exercises, polls and quizes and it is suitable for people at all levels. This includes whether you are a SWU student starting on your first year project, or a GBI wanting to improve your code skills.

Topics that will be covered includes:
Meaningful naming and conventions
Comments
Error handling
Formatting
Unit tests

After the workshop there will be some food and networking with Netcompany.

This event is made by students for students and is possible thanks to Netcompany and ITU's Study and Career Guidance.
